Blurb: Product, Data Science, and Internet Entrepreneur with more than 10 years of experience in building data-driven consumer products in the hyper-local, social, and technology domains. Outside of the day job I founded GuitarClub, a hyper-local live events platform that brought great live music, poetry, and standups from budding independent artists to neighbourhood watering hole restaurants, cafes and public places. 7 months into the journey we had generated ₹1 crore in artist earnings and had to shut shop due to the pandemic.During the pandemic, I co-founded a quick-service south Indian fast-food restaurant Namaste. Over 2.5 years, we have received a lot of love from people (top 5 south India restaurants in Bangalore) and generating ₹20 crores in annual revenue.Spent 6+ years at LinkedIn deeply understanding the social growth engines, designing and scaling several 0-1 social products, and solving for trust and safety. Here i) I co-built online professional events which saw millions of users participating in the events. ii) Co-conceptualized and developed several products to drive and engage the grey-collared workforce (waiters, cashiers, etc) on LinkedIn. iii) Redesigned their Mweb to drive 2x more engagement iv) Co-built LinkedIn Lite app to engage 10M users on low bandwidth and low-end devices.Spent 1.8 years at Uber where I lead the growth and new verticals. Here, i) I co-developed the Uber bus strategy and developed science to operationalize the buses/shuttles on the roads. This was an active strategy to drive the next 100M users to Uber. This product is operational in Cairo, Delhi, and Brazil. ii) Co-developed a cross-platform strategy to bring Uber eats and rides business together and develop an active cross-platform loyalty program to deepen engagement. iii) Designed and lead several growth experiments adding to hundreds of millions of dollars in gross bookings.Spense - A secured credit card platform for Banks
