"It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you." From an engineer at HAL, India's only defense aerospace manufacturer, to a brief finance stint, and ultimately a product professional at Curefit, my career path has traversed numerous industries and domains. While I constantly faced discomfort, battled imposter syndrome, and grappled with my identity, this journey has also endowed me with a unique outlook, an unwavering determination and ability to learn and get up to speed rapidly, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a capacity to foster collaboration with diverse stakeholders.At Curefit - House of Cult, India's largest fitness chain, I managed a host of internal products to drive efficient and defect-free operations in over 500 centers across the country. The challenge in this role was the breadth of the charter and the number of touchpoints and stakeholders to manage. I spearheaded mission critical high-impact initiatives like piloting robust authentication and access control solutions to prevent fraudulent access and revenue leakage, improving availability of fixed capacity classes to alleviate member pain and making the financial settlement stack error-free to drive partner satisfaction. I also streamlined the customer support experience by refining the self-serve help section and automating frequently used customer workflows, which reduced contact volume by xx%. This project instilled in me a deep empathy for our users who struggle with so many different things everyday and all it takes is one understanding conversation to make their day. I also realized ultimately products are used by people like you and me and have to be built by people who deeply understand them and don’t merely seek to optimize a number on a spreadsheet.
