Posted in the IR (Industrial Relations) Cell of the Human Resources Department which in company parlance is known from the name of BA (Business Associates) Cell. The Cell looks after the LEGAL COMPLIANCES (of On-Roll Employees) and also monitors whether the statutory obligations are being followed by the Contractors or Not.* Business Associates are the usual contractors which comes under the purview of the Contract Labour(Regulation & Abolition) Act,1970 [CLRA].* Roles and Responsibilities : - Legal Compliances : Ensuring obligations under the EPF & MP Act 1952 , ESI Act 1948, The Apprentices Act 1961, Maternity Benefit Act 1961 .,etc with regards to the On-Roll Employees Monthly Return and Contribution under the various Labour Law Legislations. Assisting & Resolving issues of the employees related to the above Compliances. - Acting as a IR Nodal Officer for designated areas : Liasoning with the Officer-in-Charge, Workmen, Supervisors and the concerned Contractors , Taking up personal and general Shopfloor issues, Resolving the issues and ensuring Statutory Compliances , Ensuring Safety at Workplace. Ensuring Payment of Wages, Minimum Wages, Leaves , Rest Days, Overtime Payment, PF & ESI Contribution, I-Cards, BOCW Compliance (Building and Other Contruction Workers Act,1996), Payment of Bonus of the Contractual Labour at all the designated zonal locations.
