- Establishing cooperation with the local scientific community and developing relationships with university partners.- Bidding for international congresses: conducting research and generating business leads, soliciting City’s support/funding, elaborating professional destination offers (bid books), preparing and giving destination sales presentations.- Responding to inquiries and acting as a first point of contact for international associations considering to organize their meetings in Warsaw, i.e.: providing recommendations of conference venues, hotels, suppliers etc., negotiating prices and terms of cooperation on client’s behalf, organizing site inspections.- Representing Warsaw at international trade shows (IMEX Frankfurt, IBTM Barcelona) and other networking events: attending pre-scheduled meetings with association representatives and prospective clients, presenting Warsaw’s conference potential.- Participation in the development of the organization's marketing strategy, preparing promotional materials and videos, administrating CvB's website and social media, wrtiting press releases.- Other responsibilities: planning, organizing and executing visits for international meeting planners and journalists, organizing events, preparing reports and accounts, undertaking general office works.
