My passion is in creating new technology that is actually beneficial in consumer and professional markets. I have been delivering software systems for a living for 20 years now in many industries: mobile and telecoms, medical intensive care, tactical military (defense) communications, IoT deployments, wearable consumer sports products and mesh networking communications. My technologies of choice are those that do support high-performance, low power consumption, that is C/C++ and assembly. However, I am all about continuously automating related development and integration tasks and do utilise python for testing, JavaScript framworks for visualisation, and Bash as a general working environment daily. The more can be offloaded to a Continuous Integration system or a Simulation framework, the better.I have lately also engaged Cloud Services (AWS EC2 and Google Compute Engine) due to their unbeatable spot offerings for performing large compilation and simulation loads. Learning orchestration of these have been a joy and I expect these to become a standard part of my tool set.Personally, I strive to share my knowledge experience with my co-workers. Ultimately, the best working experience is where learning occures both ways at every occasion, every day. Finally, I should add that I believe truly distributed systems such as blockchain- and DAG-based technologies. I would take my opinion as far as comparing its future potential to the profound ecffect the client-server paradigm still in use today has had on all computing universally for the past few decades.Though I am not a hardware designer as such, I fluently read and review electronics schematics diagrams for new products and continuously interface with electronics, layout and mechanics teams as well as supervise production processes at subcontractors' production facilities.I have worked with teams speaking in Finnish, English, Swedish and German. New language - not an issue, a welcome challenge in fact!
