Cooperating with Iceye since 2015 I saw the company rocket-growth. I have had a pleasure to architect and led the development of front-end application for ordering and delivering satellite images, in Java Spring + ExtJS + AngularIO, deployed on AWS services. Afterwards, I moved to satellite images processing team, writing in Python and Go, where I also fell in love with modern DevOps tools, i.a. Kubernetes, Ansible and Terraform.This resulted in me joining newly-formed horizontal DevOps team in the organization, working with all other teams on effectively provisioning and administering both infrastructure and services.

I'm with DABCAST since its inception - I helped to gather the first round of financing from H2020 programme. Since 2017 I am designing and developing interactive web-app to manage broadcasting content and lineup, written proudly in Java Spring + Python + AngularIO, deployed with GitLab on MS Azure cloud.I have also designed and implemented DABCAST Flow application - easy to use and scalable ETL tool for media broadcasters, developed in Go + React.

Jarosław

Jarosław is the town I grew up and the 'Songs of Our Roots' Festival (the flagship event organized yearly by the Association) is the one that has formed my thinking about music and culture. I have joined the Association Board as a teenager, at a quite difficult moment of generational transformation and soon I have been elected for the Association President (with actually no one else brave enough to take this responsibility). Throughout the years, we have introduced new management methods to effectively allocate tasks and improve communication with our volunteers. Drawing inspirations from my IT experience, we have started to use cloud-based remote collaboration tools as well as various Agile-related methodologies. I have been delivering technical trainings for mobile networks operators worldwide, focusing on operations, administration and troubleshooting of core networks, infrastructure and radio networks (3G/4G), contracted for Ericsson and Huawei. I have been also priviledged to develop and teach various software engineering courses at Akamai Technical Academy in Kraków, 2017 and 2018.I have become recognized for continuously getting very high scores and positive reviews from my students. Having travelled all continents, eventually I decided to settle down in Kraków, to spend more time with my growing family.

Working half-time with Ateknea, I have been privileged to collaborate with probably the best experts on EU Framework Programmes in Poland and Europe (based on number of approved FP6, FP7 and H2020 projects). I have been participating as a software engineer in various R&D projects, developing in C++ and Java. After getting more experienced, I started to deliver software engineering analysis and evaluations for newly written proposals. Eventually, I started to write proposals myself, succeeding with one of the first Polish H2020 SME-1 proposal funded (followed by a few more, including one funded SME-2).Having learned a lot, with a lot of wonderful memories and friends, I decided to leave Ateknea - to focus on what I have discovered to be my true passion: software development.
