I began with the certified public accounting firm Hunter Group as a staff accountant in 1986. After 8 years I was promoted to senior manager. Then in 2002 I became a director. In 2012 I assumed the role of co-managing director.Established in 1956, Hunter Group CPA LLC is a northern New Jersey Certified Public Accounting firm that serves closely-held, small to middle-market businesses that are entrepreneurially-managed or family operated enterprises.Hunter Group provides bookkeeping, tax preparation and auditing services, as well as accounting and consulting on a wide range of financial issues. Additionally, the firm provides audit services for non-profit organizations as well as audits for benefit plans, including 401 (k) plans. In addition, Hunter Group operates two affiliated companies, a financial planning and wealth management firm and a recruitment firm dedicated to placing financial professionals. Hunter Group is also a founding member of CPAmerica International, a nationwide association of mid-sized CPA firms that share resources and expertise.As co-managing director, my job is to find ways for the firm to grow profitably.
