In 2018, I took a break in my long hospitality career. After being responsible for tens of millions in annual operating revenue for a couple decades, I decided to take my entrepreneurial style and apply it to my own business, an Osteostrong franchise, hoping to drive some revenue to my own top line!My personal journey had included several difficult fractures, all while working as a Regional Director traveling every week, sometimes flying and sometimes driving, but nonetheless still working, struggling physically while I recovered. I was an active person, skiing and hiking, dancing and yoga, biking and kayaking were some of my favorite activities. I thought that's what happens to active people, they sometimes get injured. But then I remembered my family history. I knew I had to take action, action that would deliver long term results without introducing more health problems.I discovered OsteoStrong when Tony Robbins spoke about this biohacking technology at one of his events. Before purchasing three franchises, I started at a studio an hour and a half from my home. I felt better almost immediately, My always good posture became great. I gained agility and found myself improving in all of my hobbies and activities. My first bone scan showed improvement in all measured areas and I knew I had to do something that would help make this technology available to all my friends, family and associates!We opened our first studio in the Spring of 2019 and have had so many success stories in the last 4 plus years. Osteoporosis and osteopenia reversed, canes and walkers left behind, diabetes medication no longer needed, athletes breaking through plateaus and winning more often whatever the sport. And don't even get me started on what it will do for your golf game! This is the new direction of the healthy lifestyle, of self care. Bio hacking - or pursuing the enhancement or changes to the body's functions through technological means and this wide spread trend is bringing pro-aging to the forefront and changing the way we think about our life’s journey.
