About Paxton Hehmeyer
As kids, my friends and I would circle the schoolyard at recess, inventing characters and myths and adventures and whole worlds in elaborate fantasy epics. We called it "talking" Dungeons and Dragons in those days. We might call it collaborative storytelling today. Nowadays, I bring my love of collaboration and storytelling to crafting experiences that "teach and delight." I am at home mingling with students in the classroom (rarely in front lecturing), planning an online training, or executing a content marketing strategy through webinars, blog posts, and social media. I'm also a guy who gets excited about drafting and revising. After all, writing is collaboration between you and your readers. There's nothing more fun (and scary) than putting yourself in front of an audience and testing your ideas. I see every project as a chance to learn—whether it's forging a new skill or sharpening an old one.Right now I spend a lot of time thinking about how educational technology can best support and facilitate the personal relationships that are really at the heart of learning—whether it's the relationship between two learners or between teachers and learners.Reach out to me if you want to correspond, collaborate, or teach me something.
