As an MGN fellow, I worked in New Delhi (Delhi NCR) and Nicobar (Andaman and Nicobar islands) districts, in collaboration with the district officials, to strengthen skill development institutions. I was involved in implementing the SANKALP initiative to improve skill development, link markets and create growth in the above districts.Key responsibilities:1. Conducted demand aggregation, identified Skill Hubs for implementing NEP-2020.2. Institutionalized Skill development framework in the district-Set-up District Skill Committee under District Magistrate, created new post of District Skill Officer (SDM level), launched District Skill Training Calendar.3. Research- Conducted District Skill Gap Survey. Findings were instrumental in drafting District Skill Development Plan.4. Liasoned with multiple agencies like Sector Skill Councils, NIFT Delhi, CSR organizations (XIAOMI, Mahindra & Mahindra, Dominos), KVIC, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, to start skill training courses.5. Facilitated Skill Training courses, did Apprenticeship promotion and Placement of 100+ candidates; was catalyst in creating 100+ entrepreneurs.6. Inclusive development- Initiated 20+projects for capacity building & skill development of ITI students, Urban Poor Self Help Groups, women, youth, refugee camp residents, etc. 7. Was District Nodal Official for implemeting skill training component of government schemes- SANKALP, PMKVY, DAY-NULM, PMFME.8. Worked on Draft Policy design for office of Minister of State, MSDE, GoI.

Worked as a content contributor and co-created course material for Ethics, Social Issues and Contemporary Indian History, for the institute. Also mentored 200+ foundation batch students of ForumIAS preparing for the Civil Services examinations.

Aided in product development, back-end tech-ops, as part of Customer Centric Marketing (CCM) projects for US based pharmaceutical clients like Biogen Idec, etc.
