I am a graduate of the Hospitality and Tourism Management Co-op programat Ted Roger's School of Management with a minor in Business Communications. I have always admired the experiences and development opportunities I have been able to take part in when traveling around the world. I took my passion and put it into action by enrolling into a program that has it all. Ever since I was asked as a kid what I wanted to do and be when I grew up, I always thought of one thing and one thing only. I wanted to be able to travel and meet new people. No matter what I had to do to make this dream a reality I would do and here I stand one step closer to that dream as a Ted Roger's School of Management student enrolled into a program that has everything I have wanted to be. I believe that every experience is an opportunity to learn and I am currently pursuing such opportunity. At the moment I work at a tax firm known as Liberty Tax Service Ajax. It is not under my program expertise per say but it has been a great opportunity to learn new skills and take on roles that can and will be very helpful going forward in my career. I have been able to develop new skills over time while also strengthening skills that I already possessed. I have been given countless opportunities to hone my weaknesses and turn them into my strengths. I use skills like communication and time management when it comes to clients at my current work placement. If a client comes in with questions I need to know how to communicate the answers and at what pace. I also need to be computer literate because most of my work requires softwares such as Microsoft Excel and Tax Cycle for preparing taxes and book keeping.
