Payal is an Investment Banker and started her career at Goldman Sachs. Currently, she is building out LoEstro Advisors into a leading investment bank. In a short span of 3 years, LoEstro has made its mark on the league table at No. 6, with more than $ 800Mn+ of completed transactions. She has recently been listed in the Top Women in Finance List 2023 by Equalifi. Payal leads the effort on venture capital/ private equity fund-raising for clients in the education sector. A large portfolio of her work also includes strategic mergers and acquisitions, cross border transactions in the brick-and-mortar as well as ed-tech.She is a Commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA in finance from IIM Indore. Prior to this, she has worked at leading PE/VC funds such as Samara Capital and impact focused fund Elevar Equity.Payal also dedicates a lot of her time engaging with the startup ecosystem. She recently spoke at the Global Impact Summit on Preparing for the Next Big Shifts in Education. She frequently speaks at Yourstory and TiE events and advises early stage entrepreneurs on latest market trends.Outside of work, Payal is passionate about gender equality and has also facilitated global diversity initiatives with the Women's India Network during her time at Goldman Sachs. She also mentors young students looking to build a career in finance and banking.
