Owner
CurrentBefore joining Steve in 1989 at Garber Bros. Precision Concrete, Lee was applying his programming skills, writing inventory and production programs for the agricultural industry. When he started at Garber Bros., he transitioned from bookkeeping and IT to managing all the company’s financial responsibilities. During the early 90’s, Lee and Steve were on a quest to develop an accurate measuring system that could clearly communicate units of measure among all the employees. As they developed what would eventually become PayCrew, they sought input from all levels of the company, from estimators to supervisors to the field employees. They found that people enjoyed using the system and took pride in being a part of it. Lee eventually became the owner of Garber Bros. Under Lee’s leadership, the company won the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program award and was the first concrete company to receive this honorable award. After Garber Bros. Precision Concrete was sold, Lee served as CFO of Somero, where he again implemented the PayCrew software that he and Steve designed. In the fall of 2011, he started a new design that would evolve around the explosion of the smart phones. The final design was a mobile website that would allow any phone to be able to use it and not be specific to apps. The new PayCrew mobile software rolled out March 1st, 2012 and was beta-tested in real-life situations with over 250 workers using it daily. His newest project is a standardized measurable training and skill assessment process that all employees understand and teach daily, called Skillworks.
