Contract manage the operational aspects of receiving 3.5 milion tonnes of thermal coal per annum from Wesfarmers Curragh Coal Mine (at contract quality) on rail transport (Aurizon) to supply energy to generate 1450MW. Includes risk managment of contingency stock to maintain plant in the advent of major loss of supply from mine or transport.Participating in the management of mining development lease MDL162 including maintenance, exploration, marketing, tendering and divestment of asset. Calling for expressions of interest in 2002 to mine Jellinbah Station (Picies Project) resulted in the expansion of Curagh North Mine.Further expressions of interest in 2011 for additional areas in MDL162 resulted in the sale of the remainder of the Lease for $265M to McDonald Coal Group who subsquently onsold to Marcarthur Coal for $365M.Participating in the expression of interest for Coal Combusted Products (CCP's) from Stanwell Corporation Limited Coal Fired Power Stations (Tarong and Stanwell Power Station). Coal Reuse were the successful Tenderer from the Process and commenced 1st August 14.
