I recently graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelors of Science in Environment Science with an emphasis in freshwater and terrestrial ecology. I am looking to go into the field of environmental conservation and wildlife research! I have environmental field research experience for a spring quarter field camp program at WWU where I completed all stages in the research process including hypothesis development, study design, field research methods, data analysis, and scientific communication, conservation designs. We spent weeks training and traveling in wilderness settings gaining knowledge and competence in wilderness skills including navigation, risk management, group organization, rope skills, river travel, food preparation, living with wildlife, and Leave-No-Trace practices. I additionally have experience working with wildlife in a wildlife rehabilitation center from a summer internship with the Whatcom Humane Society.
