Through working at St. Burch Tavern I have been given the chance to understand working in a high volume/pace environment. I see myself using the personable skills I have gained by the conversations I have had with guests.

Beginning my work with ReUnion Brewery I helped with the process of opening their new downtown Iowa City location with an all-new staff. This grand opening gave me the opportunity to learn and see the opening process of a new company unfold. Following the opening I was tasked with memorizing ReUnion's entire upscale menu, along with daily happy hour specials and limited time dishes.

While working at Cedar Rapids Barrel House I learned how to efficiently enter orders into the Toast POS handhelds along with taking customers financial transactions on the system. I attended to guests in both indoor and outdoor sections that were very popular in our downtown location.

Sam's Pizza was my first serving position that allowed me to learn the fundamental serving requirements. I worked 3-4 nights per week while being a full-time student at the University. During my time working at Sam's Pizza, I encountered receiving multiple tables at once due to Thursday Trivia Nights along with Iowa Hawkeye game-day rushes.

During my time working for Twisters Gymnastics, I got to teach children in a very friendly and positive environment. Not only did I work with children through instructed classes, but I also worked birthday parties which provided me with experience of communicating and attending to adults as well as allowing children to have fun.
