Payton is a dedicated student passionate about helping others and amplifying all voices. She is motivated by an internal drive for self-improvement and knowledge on all subjects.Payton is pursuing an MPA in Policy Research and Analysis at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Her expected graduated is April, 2024.In 2022, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with Dean's Key from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania. Her majors were Political Science and Public Policy, her minors were English and International Studies and she earned a certificate in Business. In addition to this, she was a member of the Dietrich Honors Institute, held positions in her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, and was involved in leadership roles across campus. She was a member and held positions in the honor societies Sigma Tau Delta and Pi Sigma AlphaShe currently is the Operations Manager Intern with the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Forum within the Johnson Institute for Responsible Leadership at GSPIA, University of Pittsburgh. Previously, she was elected to be the Media Board Representative on the Student Government Association for the term of 2021-2022, for which she was responsible for managing social media pages and communicating important information to the campus and media board alike. Formerly, she was an executive member of the media board organization Tomcast Productions for which she reviewed and edited podcasts produced by students, was a hostess at Chovy's! Italian Casual restaurant in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and was a representative at Progressive Business Publications also in Meadville, Pa.Beyond education and work experience, Payton passionately enjoys reading, writing, animals, and all things Pittsburgh.
