As an assistant dance teacher at the Douglasville School of Dance, I help lead classes for students of various ages and skill levels. My role involves teaching choreography, providing guidance on technique, and fostering a positive environment where students can grow and express themselves through dance. I also assist with class preparation and organization, ensuring that each lesson runs smoothly and effectively. This position allows me to share my passion for dance while helping others develop their skills and confidence.

As a student at Chapel Hill High School, I maintain a 4.0 GPA and am enrolled in honors, AP, and dual enrollment courses.

As a certified lifeguard, I was responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and maintaining a clean environment. My training in CPR and First Aid prepared me to respond quickly in emergencies.I monitored the pool closely, keeping an eye on all swimmers and offering guidance on water safety. I also regularly tested the pool’s chemical levels, including pH and chlorine, to ensure the water was safe.In addition to safety checks, I cleaned the pool area, skimming for debris and organizing equipment. This role taught me the importance of vigilance and responsibility, knowing that my actions could make a life-saving difference.

As a BigFuture Ambassador for the College Board, I had the opportunity to guide my classmates through the college planning process, helping them explore college and career options with confidence. I shared resources for researching colleges, finding scholarships, and understanding financial aid—tools that made a sometimes overwhelming process feel more manageable. Whether it was through informational sessions, one-on-one conversations, or simply sharing insights in the hallway, I encouraged my peers to think about their goals and take proactive steps toward achieving them. This role allowed me to be a supportive presence for others, empowering them to navigate their post-high school journey.
