I have over a year of experience as a data technician at IMR. In this role, I am responsible for screening patients daily to determine their eligibility for our company's large-scale clinical research projects testing early-detection screening techniques for lung, bladder, colorectal, and prostate cancers. Before this role, I achieved my Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience where I gained foundational and clinical scientific knowledge as well as multiple years of experience conducting in-depth research. At Wake Forest, I completed my capstone project researching novel cancer therapeutic compounds and their efficacy in treating HNSCCs.I am thankful to have the opportunity to begin my career path at the intersection of my education and passions: improving health outcomes through biomedical research.
