I am a recent graduate from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor's Degree of Arts in Environmental Studies, hoping to become an environmental educator. I began my educational journey as an after-school elementary teacher at the YMCA, working with a diverse population of students in the Inner Sunset in San Francisco. This year-long opportunity sparked my passion for mentoring and teaching and a desire to promote change within the educational system. I continued developing my teaching skills before joining R&D Impact’s Tenderloin Science Project team at the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Francisco Don Fisher Clubhouse and Up On Top in the summer of 2023. The next steps are to continue to develop my skills in teaching and try to impact as many children and communities as I can positively!
