Cared for patients in antepartum while assisting them through an uncomplicated delivery. Monitored the pregnant mother and her baby by assessing fetal heart rhythm and mother’s vitals while also giving her medication and other care she may need. Cared for postpartum mom and newborn baby by monitoring vitals, giving medications, and watching the mother’s postpartum bleeding and any of other possible complications she may have. Cared for patients for infusions, possible pregnancy complications, or post-op from surgery. Kept in contact with physicians during every patient’s stay. Gave quality care for pediatric patients during inpatient stay.

Assist patients to a room and obtain vital signs. Obtain pertinent information regarding their appointment. Perform lab testing such as blood draws, COVID, flu, strep, and RSV testing. Triage phone calls or when patients walk in. Assist patients with medication refills, give test results, and follow up with patients who were in the hospital. Perform education regarding medication.
