As ArcTouch’s design team manager, I have broad strategic responsibilities while managing a team of 20 multidisciplinary designers that helps companies forge meaningful connections with their customers through lovable digital products created by a lovable team.During my tenure at ArcTouch, the design team built apps and digital experiences for leading companies such as Coca-Cola, HP, Common Sense Media, McCormick, Quizlet, Verizon, Volvo and many more.Some of my main attributions are:• Connect the design team with the company’s needs and vision.• Support the designers’ evolution individually (through 1:1 routines, expectations alignment, active feedback) and also collectively.• Assist the team during projects’ lifecycle, communicating with internal and external stakeholders.• Create a safe environment for team members to feel heard and comfortable sharing their thoughts, challenge ideas, and be themselves, as a genuinely inclusive leader.• Facilitate and encourage collaboration between designers, identifying and fulfilling knowledge gaps within the design team and project teams, ensuring they’re adequately staffed.• Work with other managers to identify, assess, and implement emerging technology trends and best practices.• Partner with the People Ops team, participating in the team's recruitment, selection, development, and retention processes.• Responsible for administrative activities, such as vacation requests, time tracking, and overall compliance with company procedures.

As the leader of MadeiraMadeira’s Webstore design team, I was responsible for transforming insights into interface solutions that are easy and meet the users’ needs during the purchase journey via the website and native app. I led the team in the correct use of design thinking processes and tools within the squads, aligning practices to the company's vision and developing the team's performance.During my tenure at MadeiraMadeira, the design team launched the first version of Madeira’s Design System, streamlining the development and thematization of our e-commerce website.
