While this was a "business" this was another wonderful labor of love that had roots which date back to 1999 when I co-created "HaZzardous Productions" as a teenager where we would book and promote similar events...my how times had changed.Within the 1787 Collective umbrella, there was also a separate nightlife movement we created called "Banned In A.C", which was centered around vinyl record DJs, affordable drink specials, and just overall good times. There was nothing like it in the area and thrived amongst the mid-20's to mid-30's crowds that were involved in the music community.Furthermore, a record label division was created to help independent performers release albums with no out-of-pocket expenses on their end, and no price-gouging on our end. We would help the artist create their album work, have the CDs produced, packaged, marketed, and released to the general public. This was wildly successful with 3 albums released, but short-lived due to the inability to keep up with demand and choosing "full-time jobs" over the hobby.
