Paul Michael Babiera, founder of OFW: Ang Mga Makabagong Bayani. A repatriated OFW who established a non-government, not for profit advocacy group for OFWs and their families. His group that has almost 14,000 members and growing aims to honour, empower, educate, and enrich our OFWs. Since the establishment of his group in September 2020. His group has helped thousands of OFWs cope during the pandemic and beyond. His group has assisted OFWs in the processing of government cash assistance, partnered with organizations and government agencies for webinars on Financial Literacy and job opportunities, worked closely with a foundation to build the resilience of OFWs and provided personal emotional support to distressed OFWs. He is currently taking up Leadership, Innovation, Financial Literacy and Social Entrepreneurship Program at the Ateneo School of Government and he is the Senior Business Development Consultant for Dagaz HR Consultancy and Recruitment Company FZ LLC.
