With over 30 years of experience in IT leadership and management, I help companies maximize their potential and achieve their goals as an Information Technology Consultant. Currently, I collaborate with the CIO and Director of IT Operations at GMAC, the organization behind the GMAT exam and other graduate business programs. I review and provide guidance on improving team execution and internal processes. I also mentor and coach the Director of IT Operations on facilitating stronger relationships within the organization and prioritizing the project back-log through capacity planning.My passion is to develop and improve staff and processes, which are the cornerstones of my leadership strategies. Previously, I was the Vice President of Technology Support Services at Gannett, the largest media company in the US, where I led the support efforts across three major areas: enterprise support, technology lifecycle support, and technology support center. I successfully coordinated technology support for more than 200 media locations, managed the purchase and roll-out of hardware and software, and led the post-merger efforts to combine the support organizations of GateHouse Media and Gannett. I also championed the enterprise support model, which enables IT staff to provide support to anyone from anywhere, using the tools, knowledge, and discipline required for innovation and satisfaction. When I am not working, I enjoy golfing and pursuing constant improvement in my game.
