Even though I specialize in networking, my company (RGV-DNA) started growing exponentially when a few jobs were done through Field Nation. Much to do with cabling, layer 1, PC, and printer troubleshooting seems to be the going thing in the Rio Grande Valley. As a "hired hand" for WTC and US-Courts, I've done some very advanced tasks to do with layer 2 and 3 engineering such as routing and subnetting, VLAN and Trunking on L2 (mostly Cisco), layer 4 & 5 with VIOP, interactive web sites (MS Platform). This experience is brought to my current company.

My work is nesrly all layers 1 and 2 for the time being. Cabling, RF issues. Also Cisco's Call Manager. A lot of work in the oilfield with VSAT, IP Phones. Some PSTN work.

Build processing plant from used parts dated from 1955 to 1962 (APV evaporator), cooling tower, boiler, heat exchangers all the way to bottling and packing. Automate this equipment once built using controllers, VFDs, some PID formulas (liquid flow, tank levels etc.) some ladder logic for box maker and the rest of the packing system.Build front office network from cabling infrastructure to all services involved including website, VOIP, end user internet access, security etc...Integrate front office network with the plant's system for monitoring, controlling, recording (data acquisition). Nearly all that has to do with IT in the office and production environment was done there.
