Imperial Technology is a start-up organization that builds packaged software for the Storage Area Network market. It creates enterprise storage profiling and monitoring tools for the professional services engagement. In addition, Imperial is leading the way in enterprise wide storage capacity and capability monitoring package development. Most of the work done is at the OS kernel level which requires a much more thorough understanding of quality assurance as well as extremely technical development problems.As Chief Technology Officer, I worked closely with technology leaders to ensure Imperial’s 2-4 year plans were in line with the technology direction of the industry and that Imperial’s products were market leaders.As V.P. Research and Development, I ensured the technical quality and market velocity of the products created. This organization had 10 technical staff.
