Born in 1963, Pierre Biélande has a Master’s in economics and social sciences from FUNDP (1986) and a DES in sustainable management (ULB-2004). He is now administrative, financial and HR director of the centre "Le Chat Botté" which offers a rehabilitation to young children with autism spectrum disorder.Creator and director of PPX Communications since 1996, he has worked as publisher, editor-in-chief, journalist and author, and has written numerous articles and about 30 books on economics, computers and history for general audiences. After having completed post graduate studies in environmental management at ULB, he became Editor-in-Chief of Alter Business News (2004-2007) and the news section of MVO Vlaanderen, two websites dedicated to corporate sustainable development.From 2006 to 2008, with the support of Orena Editions and Alter Agency, he created and launched Get up!, the first Belgian monthly on corporate sustainable development (NL-FR), of which he was Editor-in-Chief. Since then, he has trained in neurobehavioural psychology and coaching, and has developped a particular interest in the concept of change, both for individuals and organisations. He teached courses on sustainable management and “ethics and management” at several Belgian business schools. During the five past year he has lead several projects on mentality change, inclusion, prejudice deconstruction with primary schools.Specialties: ICT, monthly newspaper, sustainable development, sustainable business management, fair trade, mentality change, stereotypes and prejudice, human ressource management.
