Product managing with a team building an energy analytics platform that helps users optimize solar and/or battery deployment strategies. The platform simulates complex battery control algorithms that mimic battery dispatch in the field to accurately capture the impact of imperfect load and solar production forecasts. Capturing the real-world battery dispatch challenges in the design stage ensures the system we deploy is able to perform as expected.As product manager, I define the nature of the platform and prioritize development resources to deliver the most valuable analyses and the best user experience.

Optimizing solar and energy storage projects for financial and resiliency benefits. By using flexible, iterative models, Patrick is able to simulate the financial performance of many different energy procurement strategies, and find the best options given customer needs and priorities. He also develops energy storage dispatch algorithms -- "value-stacking" demand reduction, energy arbitrage and greenhouse gas reduction, and resiliency.
