Since identification of various bad practices in lead-up to credit crisis, regulators of the UK finance industry have enforced several initiatives to redress poor customer treatment. Highest profile of these programmes was with regard to the mis-selling of PPI (Payment Protection Insurance), but there were other areas also requiring redress. These included some mis-selling of mortgages products and features, as well as mis-management of some of these mortgages.Each redress area was bespoke, but required customisation of strong workflow controls and record-keeping, due to high profile of initiatives with regulators, media and the general public. Both front-book and back-book solutions had to be considered, and a disciplined change analyst was required to co-ordinate and oversee much of this activity.This role required me drawing on knowledge and experience from core Business Analysis disciplines (such as process design and requirements management), as well as project management, cross functional team co-ordination, and incident management. Work stack was managed within a persistent, multi-disciplinary, agile team.

Sensis was modernising and simplifying its operations, including migration of existing (180,000+) client base to a new platform under development. Migration was in stages, so transition impact on clients and the Sensis business had to be carefully managed. I was hired to lead the Transition Readiness effort, identify transition scenarios, all requirements flowing from those scenarios, and manage production/handover of transition processes.

NAB undertook migration of JBWere business from various disparate Goldman Sachs IT systems/processes to new homogenous platform. An experienced BA was required to lead elicitation, documentation, socialisation for all data retention/mapping requirements. NAB undertook to transition National Online Trading (NOLT) business from AUSIEX (Comsec) platform to new (nabtrade) platform. WealthHub originally included Blaze programme of work, which was eventually calved into its own programme. I was initially engaged to elicit and document requirements for managing client portfolios (specifically managed accounts and model portfolios).
