Delivering our commitment to a fully trained workforce.Responsible for ensuring all operatives are competent to perform their roles, that all training is planned so as to reduce the inconvenience to the company, and that all relevant grants are claimed.

Ensuring our fleet was compliant, particularly dealing with VOSA issues (ie PMIs, Driver CPC, Tachograph, etc).

Whilst in this role, I was able to negotiate new aggregate and concrete rates - bringing costs down by 5-10%, saving the company in excess of £100,000 per annum.
