- Oversee IT operations & manage IT department- Provide IT services in house and for external clients- Recommend, implement and support IT infrastructure for clients- Determine client needs and advise how to use information technology to best meet their business objectives- Organize tasks to meet goals, targets & deadlines- Budgeting and purchasing of IT equipment- Provide telephone, on-site and remote support

- Worked on-site at Raglan Mine, Nunavik (Northern Quebec)- Maintain a 350 user wide area network (Nunavik, Rouyn-Noranda, Toronto, Montreal)- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair network computers, laptops, server, printers and other devices- Perform daily task such as data backups, virus scans and verifying log files- Assist remote users with VPN connections- Install and configure various types of software applications- Maintain domain, e-mail and database servers- Maintain Citrix applications and users- Solve problems with limited equipment available in a remote area.- Work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week in an isolated area
