Over this 20 month period, I gained invaluable experience learning about the company as a whole.Rotation 1 - Sportsbook Operations Executive – Oct 2013 – Jan 2014: - learned in detail about Paddy Power’s biggest P&L and how the day to day running of the area is carried out. - Gained valuable reporting skills, produced competitor analysis and dealt with different CMSs.Rotation 2 - Marketing Technology Exec - Online Marketing Group:- Developed skills in a new and exciting area of marketing.- Valuable skills on app optimisation including tracking and reporting.Rotation 3 - PR Exec - Brand Team: - Exposure to the Paddy Power brand and learned that this strong brand relationship is key to how others view our company from the outside.- Acted as a spokesman for the company, writing press releases and communications to national press outlets, as well as generating ideas for conventional and 'gorilla' marketing stunts.Rotation 4 - Business Analyst for Sportsbook: - Heavily involved in getting the new In-Play Betting pages ready for release.- Acted as a communicator between the business and the developers - This has given me more insight into the betting industry, through competitor analysis and trying to better their offerings.Rotation 5 - Display & Content Optimisation Exec: - Increased knowledge of the Paddy Power’s offering to the customers by providing them with relevant, timely and correct content across many devices.- Customer insights, trying to display what the customer wants to see, by looking at analytical data and looking at the sporting calendar.- While doing this I created and implemented a customer marketing brief for the CRM team for the 2015 French Open.
