I coordinate and supervise a group of Procurement Agents whose role is bidding in tenders issued by several agencies. As a coordinator, I have implemented new strategies that have helped our company to maximize the awards we get from such tenders, accomplishing our goals. Furthermore, I am in charge of purchasing the items from the tenders we have been awarded, negotiating with providers, coordinating the international logistics and delivery to their final destination safely and on time. I have handled satisfactorily more than the 95% of all the orders, with satisfactory delivery times, meeting our client's needs and reducing all losses in our international operations, thus; maximizing our profit.

As a team member of the international trade department, my responsibilities were to bid in tenders from different agencies, to that end; I would execute the procurement of the products the requested looking for providers and negotiating with them the best prices and lead time in accordance to our client's need. Also, I would calculate all costs and delivery time to the final destination in order to elaborate the most competitive proposal for such bids. My biggest accomplishments were that I won the three largest bids of my team and implemented new ideas which helped to solve some problems with my department and company and to work more efficiently.

My duties were to Provide support with customs process of products imported by our clients. Also, I provided support to the stores of our network with different process within our international operations (being our line haul, customs clearance process and the delivery of our stores' packages), solved problems originated from such operations and advised them regarding such issues. Daily update of several reports. Addressing of different complains of our stores related to their shipments. Use of different online tools of our franchise for the follow up of all the shipments As a Courier Specialist, I was in charge of being aware of all issues regarding courier services in Venezuela such as legal regulations, tariffs of our providers and their billing process, operations, problems and other aspects so that I could then inform our stores and advise and/or intermediate with our providers when problems or doubts raised.I had various accomplishments such as creating excel tables that helped our stores in different aspects, I kept them well informed and the improvement in our operations with our courier providers was obvious. I was an essential part of a new project of international removals which will later become the new business model our company

I provided support to both, the department of air traffic and the customs department. I was in charge of the follow up of all the shipments coming from outside the country, as well a provide support to our customs agents in different process in both exportations and importations. I had a really good perfomance which pleased my superiors

During my internship, I had several responsibilities that went from elaborating reports to our clients and to the board of directors; to the planning and execution of an event for our affiliates which had a great success
