I operate a PCB layout design service based on my extensive experience in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, as well as this I undertake projects in conjunction with a team of highly experienced hardware/software/mechanical engineers to provide anything from hardware solutions to complete turnkey project management of products.

As IMP territory manager for NZ I regularly travel and visit most of the NZ electronics’ industry, design or manufacturing companies to support my customers technically and commercially.We offer sales of PCB’s including flexible and flex-rigid, solder paste stencils, membranes, decals, LCD's and cables.

I provided PCB design services for a team of 9 hardware engineers using Altium. My other responsibilities included creating a complete new schematic and footprint library, to update all current PCB designs to use the new library and to integrate all components used into the company lifecycle management system (AGILE). In addition I was responsible for maintaining and ordering sufficient stock of all components and PCB's to facilitate company prototype development including arranging PCB assembly. I created process documentation for the entire PCB design process, including check sheets, libraries, fabrication drawing.

I managed a team of three PCB design engineers working within the ICN division of Navman using Mentor Graphics PADS tools, I had responsibility for all PCB designs released including complying with quality, manufacturability and delivery targets.

I worked as a senior PCB designer on Cadence Allegro tools designing 16 layer high speed switches and routers with circuitry running at up to 3Gb/s. I also created a suite of process documentation for the PCB design department, including check sheets, libraries, preferred design process, fabrication drawing, and integrating it into the company NPD process.
