Managed all aspects of the ADB funded program for PwC Consortium to restructure and privatize Pakistan's gas transmission and distribution industry. Work involved extended residence in Pakistan.

Member of Queensland Treasury team of government employees, engineers, and financial advisers developing the state's first coal seam methane program involving negotiation of A$520 million in engineering and constructions contracts. Work led to creation of Queensland's coal seam methane industry which redefined Australia's eastern gas development.

Managed complex business shutdown with transfer of assets and staff to other organizations owned by the equity holders.

Created Tenneco Energy's Australian subsidiary at the end of 1993. Managed transition to El Paso Energy with remonetization of asset in 1996 with a gain to shareholders of US$120 million to create Epic Energy. By 1998, Epic Energy through a combination of acquisition and greenfield projects had an asset value of US$3 billion, 300 core staff. Accomplishments included:• Prepared a business strategy that has completely redefined Australia’s gas industry;• Dealt with government and industry leaders at the highest levels both inside and outside Aus-tralia;• Executed the largest privatization in West Australian history (A$2.4 billion);• Created the fastest growing energy infrastructure company in Australia and led the company in an ownership restructuring to create a 60% US owned and 40% Australian owned company;• Annually achieved shareholder returns exceeding 20%;• Led the program that resulted in Epic’s participation in Indonesia’s first gas-fired IPP project;• Negotiated contracts for providing gas and power to the first energy intensive project by a Taiwanese company in Australia.1998 - 2000 Director Energy Equity Epic (Sengkang) Pty. Served on three-member team responsible for globalization of Brown & Root's petroleum, and chemical business. Participated in all phases of acquisition of C.F. Braun to create Brown & Root Braun, a $1.3 billion forerunner to Kellogg Brown & Root (“KBR”). Managed an increase in interna-tional sales revenue from virtually zero to over $150 million and $25 million in margin by 1992. Accomplishments included following:• Developed the successful start up strategy for B&R Braun's entry into the Mid-East and Far East and then led efforts in all phases of the strategy. The strategy resulted in the company's first international turnkey projects and the assignment of staff from the United States to execute the projects.• Managed company’s involvement in oil, gas, and petrochemical projects in Malaysia and Indo-nesia.• Developed format for a joint venture company with Algeria’s Sonatrach and directed negotia-tions that resulted in the establishment of operations in London and Algiers.• Directed B&R's investment in a $200 million petrochemical complex in the U.S. and negotiated project financing using a combination of sources from the U.S., Europe and Japan.

Formed company with a group of European lawyers and industrialists. Corporate offices were lo-cated in Houston and Paris with affiliates in Tokyo and Seoul. Participated in multinational devel-opment activities with financing and investors coming from Japan and Europe. Annual worldwide development activities exceeded US$200 million. Company purchased in 1988 by its European partners.

Held three roles in organization. Directed activities in both the U.S. operation and the Korean parent. Work involved extended assignments to Japan and Korea to manage LNG and other gas pro-ject activities executed by a Japanese/US/Korean joint venture company. Directed the establishment of a special projects division that grew to 30% of total company revenues by 1983. Managed the preparation of Korea’s strategic plan to create an LNG import industry and directed the first project’s scoping and feasibility study work.
