This is the first post of its kind - responsible for taking the good practice developed locally to the wider London business community, working across the day and night-time economy. The role supports and drive the reduction of business crime and violence in the capital, helping to improve consistency of delivery around information sharing, partnership working and upskilling through an agreed set of standards. Positive communication and interface with businesses is an essential part of this role which is a ‘hands on’ job where I am required to liaise directly with businesses and key partners including the police, local authority and Mayor’s office on a regular basis, delivering regular communications on current activities, projects and success stories and assisting with issues both across London, specific areas and individual businesses.

Young Leaders was a National peer-led, grant-giving, sex and relationships education project, funded by the Big Lottery Fund for three years. It was a preventative response to the escalating rates of HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) amongst young people in the UK.

To work across University departments and with the Students Union to ensure that students engage with the National Student Survey.To co-ordinate a campus-wide campaign that ensures a targeted response rate.To project manage the campaign.To review data captured in the survey.To engage with the student body using a variety of methods including online and offline campaigns, video campaigns and other communication methods.

This was a project which took the new corporate identity for the Council and iits Young People's Division from paper to CD.The style guide was used to create templates which were then browsable on the CD.The project aim was to create develop corporate image publication and a user friendly way for people to access it.

Elected to sit on the Board of Connexions Nottinghamshire by my peers.
