As a tech editor, I gained a lot of experience in the publishing industry and worked for various magazines such as c't, Chip, iCreate, Fitness for Men and How it Works. In this unique position, I was able to work with a wide variety of hardware and software - from gadgets and care robots to mobile phones and ATMs.Because of my fascination with Linux and networking, I taught myself to work with this special operating system. So I wrote next generation firewalls based on iptables myself, I'm familiar with routing, dhcp, dns, ids, ips, demilitarized zones, vlan's, virtualization software (VMware) and containers (Docker). By working with the technology myself, I have more and moreand my practical knowledge grew. I'm also not afraid of a the command line, regular expressions, can read and modify (a.o. Bash) scripts and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and other network problems.Is used to working under high time pressure to get articles and ict projects finished on time. What a great experience this was!
