Led supply-infrastructure-planning programs for the Coca-Cola System in Europe. Managed the cross-border supply of niche products. Led technical projects of new-product development, with primary focus on New Ventures beverages. Managed contract-manufacturing: vendor selection, budgeting, contract generation and negotiation. Led risk assessment and contingency planning processes. Coordinated a steering committee of franchisee-technical managers to ensure alignment on the agreed plans. Delivered ca 140 million liters ‘special products’ per year, such as Aluminum bottle, Zico Coconut water, Glaceau vitaminwater, from 10+ manufacturing hubs in Europe. Reported to the London headquarters, managed 1 associate in Italy.

Led the transition from external co-packing of still beverages at Atlantic Beverages Ltd. to in-house manufacturing at The Coca-Cola bottling system. Managed the wind-down of Atlantic Beverages Ltd.

Established and managed the supply chain of non-carbonated beverages aseptically filled at contract packers across Europe. Delivered up to 300 million liters per year, spread over 350+ SKU’s, to 29 countries in Europe and ME, this including the pan-European launch of Powerade, Nestea, Minute Maid. Managed 5 contract packers in Europe: San Benedetto (Italy, Spain, France), Nestlè-SanPellegrino (Italy), CCEAG (Germany). Managed a team of 6 in Italy and Germany.

Led Commercialization and Quality improvement programs: new product development, Quality project management, supply infrastructure planning, value chain analysis. Launched 30+ innovative SKU’s in Italy in 2001, including the first juice in aseptic PET. Improved Quality index for Malta and Albania up to + 50% in the period. Reduced time-to-market by 30% thru commercialization process re-engineering.

Managed engineering projects for 2 manufacturing hubs in Italy: capital budgeting, technicalspecifications, suppliers selection and coordination, status reporting, validation and startup. Commercialization process management: new packaging and new formulae. Led safety & environment programs. Coordinated production deployment projects (“Philadelphia” and “Susanna” manufacturing lines, Zingonia plant shut down). Actively involved in the implementation of ISO 9002 Quality system.

Led "Continuous Improvement" programs for 2 production sites in Italy: analysis and optimization of facility layout, manufacturing throughput, line efficiency and headcount, ergonomics, maintenance protocols, SKU’s rationalization programs, process re-engineering, training for plant personnel, executive reporting.

Technical project management: capital budgeting, technical specifications and dossier for Local Authority, selection and coordination of suppliers, project status reporting
