Panayiotis is a Cyprus qualified lawyer, currently working as a Strategy and Policy Planning Analyst at the International Development Law Organization. Panayiotis holds an LL.B. from the University of Leicester (U.K.), a Licence and a Maîtrise in European and International Law from the University of Strasbourg (France), and an Advanced LL.M. in Public International Law (specialization in International Criminal Law) from Leiden University (The Netherlands).Panayiotis has previously worked for the University of Luxembourg, the Court of Justice of the European Union, the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, the Law Office of the Republic of Cyprus (Public Prosecution Division), the Council of Europe, and Cyprus’ Permanent Representation to the EU. In parallel to his studies, Panayiotis also worked as Assistant Editor for the Leiden Journal of International Law and carried out research for Prof. Helen Duffy’s strategic human rights litigation practice, and for a project on digitally derived evidence (Kalshoven-Gieskes Forum on International Humanitarian Law). Panayiotis also served as a member of the European Criminal Bar Association's Working Group on the EPPO. Panayiotis speaks Greek (mother tongue), English and French (fluent).
