For the past seven years, I’ve worked at rising indie label Position Music in LA. During my time at Position , the company grow from 15 employees to over 45 employees. As Senior Director of Digital Media, I managed a small but mighty team that delivered robust release strategies, digital marketing timelines and media plans, influencer marketing, DSP optimization, playlist pitching, project management, music synchronization and licensing, tour promotion, public relations, and an insane amount of short-and-long-form video content creation. Our label roster included rising indie artists such as 2WEI, NoMBe, Kid Bloom, Kyle Dion, Elohim, Welshly Arms, Jordan Suaste, Ryan Oakes, Layto, and more. My team and I would strategize, deploy, and execute across multiple artist marketing budgets. These budgets and release cycles were often being executed all at the same time, across our entire label roster. In addition to helping artists, I also produced and posted all of Position Music’s own branded online assets. Including all of the company's press relations and overall press communication efforts, a comprehensive brand redesign, a full frontend and backend website overhaul, ongoing social media community management and promotion, and assisted with the label's event marketing efforts. Before Position Music, I had successful 4+ year run working at PERISCOPE (now known as “Betty”). I was fortunate enough to work in both the creative and strategy departments to produce some award-winning work. Each role allowed me to experience the sheer emotional impact that quality creative work can evoke, while also being able to measure said creative efforts through robust data analyzation and optimization. Often times, I would package our findings and research into a digestible strategy and deliver actionable marketing recommendations to clients such as Buffalo Wild Wings, The Minnesota Lottery, Trolli, Target, and more. In my free-time, I love to DJ and post music mixes to my SoundCloud. Music is extremely important to me. As a Community Engagement Advocate, I strategically created, maintained, and protected social media presences to accomplish business goals for our clients. My area of expertise includes social content creation, digital strategy, campaign creation, influencer marketing, social reporting and analytics, optimization of content, social listening, social monitoring and escalation, brand protection and PR, promoted social content strategies, and direct one-to-one community management.
