Project Description: Web application for a VMware product called VCD (vCloud director) that enables the management of infrastructure resources in multi-tenant cloud environments. This is also offered as a Saas application.- Led a team of 2 engineers to develop a dynamic forms module that is used for rendering server-driven forms that increased dev productivity by 2X- Mentored entry-level engineers in learning and getting up to speed with the product, technology, and company culture that enabled them to create much better-quality merge requests in 3 months- Led the user research and implementation of action search that allows users to search and perform actions on an entity from the comfort of their keyboard without using the mouse. More than 50% of the stakeholders loved this feature.- Designed & developed end-to-end workflow starting from the UI to all the way to back-end Rest API for canceling ongoing tasks to free up the cloud resources for other operations- Successfully built deployment infrastructure for VMware's CDS app on AWS to automatically deploy with CI. The app is hosted on S3 and globally distributed using CloudFront as CDN- Developed the automation for finding A11y issues early on by integrating the a11y testing into e2e testing. This helped the product in being VPAT compliant- Responsible for developing e2e tests in cypress and successfully integrated them with merge request pipelines and Jenkins production build pipelines. This 2X the speed at which production issues are being resolved
