Patrick C. Willemsen has over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience; he studied economics and management in Amsterdam at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. In 1997 Patrick Willemsen founded Stonehenge Telecom together with a partner and currently serves as its CEO. Stonehenge Telecom is an international telecommunications company headquartered in the United States with offices in Europe and Asia. Its flagship unit provides a Mobile Payment Application (MoneyM) to the unbanked and underbanked in developing countries through partnerships with leading Telco’s. It also provides a technologically nimble and unique architecture enabling it to provide a variety of high value-added for-fee applications from one platform. US operations provide private label wireless services, to non-profits, universities, celebrities and sports teams; Stonehenge focuses on enhancing its partners’ brand and strengthening their stakeholder relationships. The third leg of the stool, are facilities-based wholesale voice termination services sold globally to carriers with a strategic focus on select, direct connections. Mr. Willemsen also serves on the boards of ABEX Group, an investment group; Missions Made Possible, a non profit central Florida organization and is chairman of the board of Valcom INC, a publicly traded entertainment company. In 2009 Mr. Willemsen became Honorary Consul of the Netherlands in Central Florida.
