As a Claims Processing Specialist with over 8+ years in the customer service industry, I love solving customer problems using modern technology & learning new things in order to make a positive impact on the industry. From my time working in fast food to working in a fast-paced office contact center, I have been exposed to many different areas in the industry & I've been able to acquire a variety of different skills over time. At SafeRide Health, we strive to provide non-emergency medical transportation to members all across the US. As a Claims Specialist in the billing department, I am directly responsible for managing/processing mileage reimbursement claims for members from across 5+ health plans located all over the US. Prior to working at SafeRide Health, I was previously working as a SME at TaskUs for 4+ years. During my time at TaskUs, I started out as a teammate & later transitioned into the role of a Subject Matter Expert to help support teammates on the frontline while also becoming a part of leadership to not only identify issues but to innovate & implement solutions. As a SME, I assisted trainers with facilitating training as well as assigned to help lead special projects consisting of 25+ teammates. I have consistently been recognized by both the company & our client for exceeding expectations. In November 2022 I was chosen by the client to be a part of a brand new escalations team since I was recognized as having great communication skills, excellent product knowledge as well as being a fast learner who can quickly adapt to unique situations. I attended San Antonio College from 2021 - 2024 and graduated with my Associate's Degree in Secure Software Development in May 2024.
