I'm a Software Developer with professional experience in front-end and back-end web technologies.I like to understand deeply every concept, technology and tool that crosses my way, so I never limit myself to learn only the basics of what I use. I strive for technical excellence in what I do because it's what drives me and brings me joy.Motivated to comprehend the physical world around me and its phenomena from a scientific point of view, I graduated in Chemistry at University of São Paulo (USP). After that I went on to explore different areas of the job market, like industrial food production and digital marketing - more out of curiosity and opportunity than vocation - but it was with software development that I found true affinity and an expression for my thirst for knowledge. I met again an old sense of wonder that began in my childhood in late 1990s and early 2000s, when I first had contact with a computer (still running on Windows 95 and dial up internet back then). That feeling grew up with me as I witnessed the continuous improvement of hardware, operational systems, web technologies and computer games. My fascination for computers encompasses every layer of the architecture: from hardware to operational systems and its applications, as well as the concepts and sciences behind them. There's nothing about the subject that doesn't interests me.Professionally I like to solve technical programming problems from start to end, striving for conceptual integrity, security and correctness in my ideas and implementations.I have experience in planning, building and maintaining small to mid-sized web applications running on dedicated servers in AWS EC2 or serverless technologies like AWS Lambda. I used primarily React.js in the front-end and Node.js in the back-end. I also have solid experience in relational database management systems like PostgreSQL and MySQL.In my GitHub profile you can find personal projects that I developed to practice and consolidate my knowledge since the beginning of my career. These projects are a reflection of my progress and self-criticism in software development - in some of them you can read how I planned and later self-assessed my implementation and handled the challenges logically and emotionally. If you're interested, look into the "/docs" directory of some of my projects like "reddit-pocket" or "ecommerce-api". GitHub Profile: https://github.com/pda-freddi
