Paul is presently the Executive Director of NFI North a nonprofit mental health and human services agency providing services throughout New Hampshire and Maine. He has previously served as the Director of Children and Family Services for North American Family Institute and in various supervisory positions with Northeastern Family Institute in Peabody, Massachusetts. Paul with his team developed NFI North from a single program with an annual budget of 400 thousand dollars and four employees back in 1993 to the organization it is today with more than 28 services and annual budget more than 50 million dollars and more than 400 employees.Paul is a nationally recognized trainer and presenter in leadership, organizational development, organizational culture, and leadership development. He also provides consultation and coaching for nonprofit and business leaders with a focus on organizational culture, leadership development, workforce development and strategic planning.He is the 2022 recipient of the New Hampshire Business Review Business Owner of the Year Award in the large nonprofit category.In addition, Dr Dann is a published author through Wiley Publishing and Pearson Publishing. His recent book is titled Managing and Leading Nonprofit Organizations: A Framework for Success.Academic: Paul is a graduate of Northeastern University, with a BS in Human Service, his graduate study was done at Boston University in Human Service Management. He has a MA and a PhD in Human and Organizational Systems. He is also a former research fellow in leadership development at the Institute of Social Innovation.Paul is a core faculty at UNH, teaching in the Master of Public Administration Program within the Carsey School of Public Policy. He served as the Program Director for New England College’s MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and teaches in their MBA and MS in Health program. He specializes in teaching leadership, organizational development, change management, strategic planning, research methods, capstone development, negotiation and conflict management and cultural diversity.Paul is a graduate of Leadership NH, President of the Child and Family Provider Network, a Board Member of the Maine Association of Mental Health Services, a past Board Member of New Hampshire in Sight, past President of the Hopkinton Independent School Board, former Chair of the Board for Havenwood Heritage Heights Retirement Community, and former Vice President of the Community Provider Network. He's also the front man for a regionally recognized blues band.
