• 25+ years’ experience of working within the IT industry, as a leader in software product delivery• Significant experience of managing large (200+ resources) global multi-disciplinary teams• Strong knowledge of Insurance domain and technology trends within the insurance industry• Development and implementation of strategic and technology roadmaps, considering technology trends and the competitive market (i.e. Insuretech and US Insurance market trends)• Implementation of engineering best practise and continuous improvement strategies• Technology savvy leaders, who keep abreast of technology trends• Strong product mindset and experience• Strong customer relationship building, both internal and external• Proven leadership agility, with experience across multiple domains and technology stacks• Ability to build and grow world class technology teams• Extensive experience in sub contract and vendor management • Leading teams in multiple development lifecycles, Agile, Waterfall, DevOps• Broad technical experience: Automation, Document Generation, Content Management, Chatbot, Natural Language Processing, Cloud Computing, Marketing Technologies, Data and Analytics• Financial accountability with the management of multimillion dollar budgets• Functional management of software development and IT operations team, including staff development, appraisal management, mentoring and extensive one to one and team coaching• Fully leadership accountability for Senior technical resources, including recruiting, coaching and performance management.
