We operate as a manufacturer's representative and consultant specializing in the introduction of new technology, often disruptive.The Marketing Advantage (sm) relies on four factors. In order of importance: Relationships, Service, Product and Price. The most important is the Relationship. Service builds customer confidence and trust. The "best" Product is rarely the best selling and Price is always the last thing.Paul Carey joins the company in 1994 as Vice President of Engineering at a time when Sanyo had decided to become the number one projector manufacturer. Responsible for about $150M in projector sales through 2006. We built this business one projector at a time by winning the hearts and minds of sales people with a focus on rental and staging.

Brought this company to the proAV market by productizing software that had been developed as a system integration. Maintained West Coast demonstration facilities and did much of the early product testing. Contributed IP enabling Scalable to better the performance of the then competition. Patents issued. Initial trade show booth design and demonstration. Connected Scalable to Marketing Specialists, Inc. client and vendor relationships enabling early growth.
