Hong Kong International Airport

• Siemens is providing a turn-key solution for the Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal Project at Chep Lak Kok, Hong Kong’s international airport. This project is worth €165m and provides CPSL with the largest cargo terminal.
• The weekly programme progress-update cycle for all phases of the project.
• Identifying risks to the programme and highlighting these to the management.
• Working with the Site Team to re-sequencing various aspects of the programme in accordance with the changing needs of the project e.g. revised access dates; changes in site conditions, recovery/acceleration.
• Issuing a plethora of programme PDFs showing the various facets of the larger programme in smaller more manageable pieces – for both internal consumption and for the main contractor.
• Working with the Contract Management and Site Teams conducting delay claims-analysis and reporting. b) Reporting

• My role is Project Manager for the implementation of the Oracle-Primavera Contract Manager software for the Airport Authority at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). Oracle’s ‘Contract Manager’ is the key component.
• Liaise with the client to manage their expectations and build a sound business relationship
• Manage the combined implementation team of more than 20 people, including 2 external consultants
• Provide weekly, fortnightly and monthly Progress Update reports including Primavera Schedule updates and detailed status report.
• Manage the quality and schedule of the deliverables such as testing and documentation for client’s sign-off
• Manage the integration and migration with the client’s existing systems

• Involved in ‘Thameslink Programme’ which is worth £3.6bn: to increase trains passing north-south through central London, with huge developments at Faringdon, Blackfriars, London Bridge stations & Borough Market; with.
• Awarded “Bridge Award” for displaying Network Rail Core Values: Teamwork, Respect, Motivation & Pride
• Accurately forecast period by period Costs, robust EV metrics & focused reporting
• Assemble and integrate fully cost-loaded plans and schedules incorporating all subcontractor costs and plans, possessions and plant planning etc.
• Assess cost and delivery risks, working with the risk team: direct appropriate focus into highlighted areas
• Integrate the programme with other railway disciplines of E&P, S&T, Track & station civils.

Seconded to Metronet, I was part of a team building a four-storey underground tube ticket hall connecting the main-line rail services (including CTRL) through brand new tunnels to the existing underground train lines... all of which has to be completed by the 2012 Olympics
