I am an experienced and skilled equity investment analyst and portfolio manager, with over 10 years of success in the information technology and communication services sector at SSgA Fundamental Value Equities (FVE), a leading global asset management firm. Prior to this, I was responsible for the Resources sector at SSGA FVE and Japanese equity portfolio management at previous firms. This shows a strong track record of delivering superior returns and alpha generation across sectors, regions, market cap scales, and investment styles, using fundamental research methods.I also have experience at incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into my investment decisions, and ensuring compliance with the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). I hold the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing, as well as the IOB Accredited Product Adviser (APA) for Savings and Investment designation. I am currently studying to obtain the IOB Professional Certificate for Designated Persons in a Fund Management Company. Additionally, I have a BA in International Marketing and Japanese from DCU, and I speak German and Japanese. Have worked collaboratively across functional (research, IT dev, operations) teams to implement a data management framework, and was a member of SSGA's Global IT Research Council, overseeing the move of in-house investment data from legacy systems to Databricks on AWS Cloud. Previous roles involved engagement and constructive challenge with C-Suite and Investor relations executives of major global firms, as well as presenting our offering to key institutional clients and prospects.I also helped draft and implement "First Line of Defence" compliance desk procedures in line with SSGA Global Policies and Procedures.
